Hiring a car in Florida is easy and inexpensive. If you drive an hour east you come to the J F Kennedy Space Centre-NASA where you get to experience a simulated shuttle launch into space and eat exotic space food. Slightly south of the space centre is Cocoa Beach; golden sand beaches and clear blue water also home to the famous Ron Jon Surf Shop. The west coast of Florida is a great place to unwind and relax. St Petersburg and Tampa is renowned for excellent seafood and great beach bars.
